Since 1972, the BFA Film Program at Purchase College has offered intense, hands on professional training in film production.
We are artist-centered, highly selective and committed to guiding emerging writer-directors through conceiving, shooting and editing their films.
A part of the college's School of Film and Media Studies (comprised of the Conservatory of Film, Cinema Studies, New Media, Screenwriting and Playwriting and Media, Society and the Arts programs), our curriculum fuses intellectual and practical training, educating our diverse student body to be critical producers of film and media. |
